I know it’s been quite a while I didn’t post any update about ZdMultilang. This is mainly because I didn’t have time to work on it recently.
It will include lots of new features, some bugfixes and still no different permalinks for each languages.
Apparently someone managed to do it for Carla Bruni Sarkozy but they forked the plugin and didn’t share the changes…
I just contacted the company who made the website and see if they will share the knowledge. If not, then we will all have to wait until I fix that.
In the meantime, I did some improvements to the plugin, here is the changelog for version 1.2.5 :
- The most expected feature is now working : You can have static pages as a frontpage !
- Updated a bug with translation icon in the page while the page has never been saved
- Added options to hide the flag in the widget
- Function zd_multilang_menu now takes two paramaters : zd_multilang_menu (show_language_name, show_language_flag) by default these are true
- Added an option to display original post while translating
- Added a donate button if you want to support development of the plugin
- Ability to choose the user level needed to edit content
- Added an option to keep comments separated – Amazing work done by Pau Sanchez
Stay tuned, I’ll let everyone know as soon as I publish the next version, it should be soon.
so they took an existing plugin, modified it and now don’t want to share the changes.. I hope they are smarter than that..

I’m using your last plugin version with wordpress 2.8.6.
I’m having a warning message when I translate post & page in other language than the default.
Here’s the warning: Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/www/d70dc697a683792115fe423bf6e698b7/web/wp-admin/includes/post.php on line 1389
difficult to find out where the real problem .. :s
Do you have an idea ?
This is very strange as it is talking about the post file from the wordpress core, not the plugin. I don’t know what could do that, did you define all the languages ?

merci pour ce plugin, qui fonctionnait tres bien mais depuis peu j’ai quelques probleme :
lorsque je veux traduire une page ou un article je n’ais qu’une version html de la page et lorsque je clique sur visuel, l’encart pour traduire la page disparait (on ne voit plus que l’encart EXTRAIT).
j’ai bien mise à jour en 1.2.5 mais cela ne change rien …
votre plugin est vraiment ce qui me conviens le mieux, y a t’il une solution pour remedier à ce probleme …

Utilises tu cformsII ? Il y a un bug entre les plugins et lui lorsque l’on affiche tinymce
